Cheating During Testing Loadout Priority Tier List
What to buy first with exam Credits so every upgrade shortens catch risk.
This loadout priority tier list ranks how Cheating During Testing players should spend Credits and Robux during BETA. It complements Gadgets Tier List and Phone Tiers by answering a simpler question: what do I buy next with the Credits in my pocket?
S-tier spends (buy first)
Phone capacity and speed upgrades sit alone in S-tier. Every exam uses the phone pipeline. Faster scans and more answers per photo shrink the time you must occupy a Safe Window. Until your phone feels fast, almost every other purchase is a distraction. Details: Phone Items and live prices on Shop Items.
A-tier spends
Smart Watch (cheap early unlock) and Smart Glasses (mid unlock) help awareness, but they do not replace holster discipline. Buy Watch when you cannot yet afford a phone tier and want a low-cost tool. Buy Glasses after the first phone bump if Credits remain. Community price notes disagree on Glasses costs (some builds show ~600, others ~1,500) — trust the live Shop.
B-tier spends
Snacks and minor comfort items help Hunger pacing on long exams. They are B-tier because they do not shorten photo time. Use them when meters sabotage otherwise clean runs — Anxiety and Hunger.
C-tier / situational
Snitch tools (often Robux-gated) are situational. They amplify report fantasy and credit farming from Snitching, but they do not save a player who leaves the phone out during stares. Buy after phones feel solved.
Robux shortcuts
Credit packs and +1 Level offers are convenience, not skill. They are fine if your time is scarce and you already holster correctly. They are wasteful if you still fail Controls basics.
Mid-article video covers phones, answers, and upgrades in one session — use it to visualize the priority order.
Worked Credit paths
Path A (new account): survive → bank → first phone tier → Watch if leftover → next phone tier. Path B (Level 3+ broke): skip cosmetics, one more graded exam via Phone Trick, then phone speed. Path C (rich, still dying): stop buying; drill Safe Windows and Avoid Getting Caught for a day.
Tier list vs seat skill
A corner seat from Seat Strategy can outperform a premature Glasses buy. Loadout priority assumes you already picked a sane desk.

Buy the upgrade that shortens exposure. Everything else is flavor until your phone is fast and your holster is boring.
Anti-priority list
Do not buy Snitch first. Do not buy every snack. Do not dump Robux before one clean manual exam. Do not chase Glasses while still on the starter phone if Level gates already allow a phone tier.
Party loadouts
In trusted parties, one player can specialize in reports while others stack phone speed. In public lobbies, assume everyone is a snitch and selfishly stack phones.
Closing rank rule
If a purchase does not reduce phone-out time or Anxiety spikes, it is not S-tier. Be ruthless with that filter and your Credit graph climbs.
Session example with real Credit math
Imagine you finish two exams for about 250 Credits total and sit at Level 3. Path: buy the first phone tier immediately, ignore Snitch banners, and bank leftovers toward speed. Next session, clear another graded exam before touching Glasses. That sequence matches how high-visit players actually climb instead of window-shopping every icon.
Comparing this list to gadget ranks
Gadgets Tier List answers which tools feel strong in a vacuum. This loadout page answers spend order under poverty. A B-tier snack can still be correct if Hunger is ending runs, but it never outranks a missing phone upgrade when scans are slow.
Re-ranking after a bad Shop day
If you impulse-bought the wrong item, do not spiral. Play two clean exams with Getting Started fundamentals, then resume the S-tier phone path. Credits come back faster than pride.
Final buy filter
Ask one question at the Shop counter: does this shorten phone-out time or stop an Anxiety spike this hour? If neither, walk away.
