Cheating During Testing How It All Works
The complete picture of every system and how they fit together from the first Join to the final Assessment Complete screen.
Cheating During Testing is a Roblox classroom stealth game by developer ebenxzy. The premise is simple: you forgot to study for an exam, and the only way to pass is to cheat. But beneath that elevator pitch is a layered system of meters, timing windows, social pressure, and progression that rewards players who understand how the parts connect. This guide is the complete map of that system — what everything does and how it fits together.
The core loop in one paragraph
You join a classroom of up to 24 players. The teacher walks in and the timer starts. You have a pencil, an answer sheet, and eventually a phone. Your goal is to finish the test with a good grade without getting caught. Higher grades pay Credits. Credits unlock shop items. Better shop items let you finish faster. Faster finish means cleaner runs means more Credits. That loop is the entire game.
The classroom and seating
Each server holds up to 24 players. The September 2026 “A NEW ERA OF CHEATING” event introduced seat picking — players can now choose their desk before the exam begins, replacing the earlier random assignment. Corner and back desks reduce the angles the teacher can use to spot your phone. Front-center desks work only if you are already excellent at reading head direction.
The Classroom Map and Seat Strategy tools cover positioning in detail.
The teacher
The teacher is the primary risk in the classroom. They patrol, they stare, and they end runs. The key variable is head direction — the teacher catches you when their face is pointed at you while a gadget is out. Distance matters less than facing. A teacher across the room who is looking at you is more dangerous than a teacher at the next desk who is facing away.
Safe windows open when the teacher looks away, enters the room, or is distracted by punishing another student. The Safe Windows and Ultimate Cheater guides cover timing in detail.
The answer sheet and Version A/B
Your sheet has a version letter printed on it — Version A or Version B. Each version has different correct answers for the same question numbers. The phone processes your own sheet photo, so photographing your own version is the reliable method. Copying a neighbor without matching versions is a silent failure.
See Test Versions for the full version mechanics.
Meters: Anxiety and Hunger
Anxiety rises when you look around and falls when you face forward with the pencil. At 100% the teacher locks onto you and deletes every safe window. It is the primary run-ender for most players.
Hunger drains slowly during longer exams. When it hits zero the exam ends regardless of grade. It is the secondary survival meter, relevant primarily on long papers.
Both meters are covered in Anxiety and Hunger.
The phone pipeline
The phone is the signature gadget. You photograph your answer sheet, the device returns corrections for questions you got wrong, and you copy them onto your paper. The all-A trick — prefilling every bubble as A before photographing — makes the phone skip already-correct answers, reducing the number of corrections you need to make.
Phone tiers differ in capacity (answers per photo) and speed (processing time). Better phones mean fewer photos needed and shorter exposure per photo.

Other students and snitching
Anyone in the 24-player room can report a cheater for about 20 Credits. This creates a social layer: strangers have a financial incentive to watch your phone. The Snitching guide covers this economy.
Assessment Complete and progression
When you finish or time runs out, the Assessment Complete screen shows your grade, cheater rating (Ultimate or Rookie), and Credit breakdown (grade reward, on-time bonus, streak). Credits fund the shop. The shop funds phones. Phones fund faster runs. That is the progression loop.
The Assessment Rewards guide decodes the results screen in detail.
Level gates
Levels unlock shop tiers. Level 3 is the first major gate — it opens the phone shop. The Progression guide maps the full milestone route.
Updates and the BETA label
The game is labeled BETA. The developer pushes updates that can change timing windows, meter rates, shop prices, and payout values. The main menu Update Log is the fastest source of official changes. The Latest Updates page tracks what changed.
How all the guides connect
